Hello, everyone! It’s been a long time since I’ve made a blog post. But there are a lot of important things happening in the very near future, and I figured I should update everyone.
First of all, last May, I graduated from college! I officially have a bachelor’s degree in 3D animation, and I also got 2 minors in 2D animation and illustration.
I took a month off to go on a trip with my parents and girlfriend, but since then, I’ve been hard at work looking for what the new chapter of my life will be.
I am job searching, but since that’s currently been unsuccessful, I have been putting all of my effort into growing my store and taking commissioned work.
With that in mind, I have two conventions coming up: Nan Desu Kan, happening this weekend, and Riptide 2026, happening the weekend right after!
Riptide 2026 is going to be a massive event for me this year, and every element I have planned or been a part of has finally been announced, so let me make a list so it’s all in one place:
-
My tacticooler can collection is once again going to have a limited edition design featured at my booth at Riptide! This year’s theme is Toni Kensa, with a black, white, and red color palette that Splatoon doesn’t feature anywhere else.
See what it looks like here:

As long as everything goes to plan, I am going to have 110 cans at the event, and then a couple weeks later, list 40 more cans for sale online. If you aren’t going to Riptide, and you want a can, that will be your only opportunity to buy one! -
I designed the official collectible poster for the Splatoon LAN at Riptide 2026! As far as I know, you can preorder or purchase one at the event itself! Check it out here:

This was a massive honor, so I really hope you all like it. I’m not selling them myself, but if you’re attending Riptide 2026, please come find me and let me sign your poster! -
I am participating in a stamp rally with all the other artists in the Splatoon room, aptly named the Raiders Rally!
You can take a look at the promo post for that here:
(We haven't actually posted this publicly yet. If you're reading this, you get the info before anyone else lol)
You can participate at the event by asking for a card from one of the four participating artists, spending $10 or more at each of their tables, collecting all four stamps while checking out, and then presenting your completed card to PopLANtis to claim your treasure!
I made a necklace with an enamel charm, and the others made a carabiner, a wooden magnet, a wooden keychain, and a hair clip - all being held in a pouch you get to keep, as well!
-
I will be bringing the very last of my remaining stock of Essentials Ita Bags to Riptide! This includes both the Octo Expansion and Side Order colorways. This is all I have left, and I will not be reordering any more in their current state, so this will be your very last chance to get one!

I have several new items I will be selling first at Riptide! (or, perhaps Nan Desu Kan will get some of them first)
These include a new, updated design for my SODAAA enamel pins, which you can see here:

A new liquid soda keychain with the label “Gender Fluid”, a borderless keychain of the new alien creature from Rhythm Heaven Groove! I will also have a good amount of new items that have been featured at other conventions, but have not yet been listed on my online shop!
Phew, I think that’s everything. I hope to see you there!
When Riptide is done, I plan on putting more effort into maintaining my online shop. Some of my listings are outdated, or marked as sold out, because I wanted to have stock for in-person events. But for the future, I plan on ordering and separating out a certain amount of stock for every single item that will only be sold online. I don’t want to neglect the people who can’t come to events!
Also, since I’m now graduated, I am completely open to work. Please contact me if you have any job openings, any commissions, or any contract work you think I would be a good fit for. I’m going to start charging at a professional rate, but I am happy to do anything you need me to.
I can do illustration, concept art, storyboarding, 2D animation, 3D animation, or merchandise - or really anything adjacent! My website has a portfolio with a tab for everything I do.
Thank you for reading this far! I’ll talk to you all soon,
-Andro
